Mission Statement

The mission of the Fire Department and Relief Association of Monessen, Pennsylvania is to protect the lives, property, and well-being of our community through dedicated fire protection, emergency response, public service, training, and preparedness. We are committed to supporting our firefighters with the equipment, resources, and assistance necessary to serve safely and effectively, while upholding a tradition of volunteerism, integrity, teamwork, and service to the City of Monessen and surrounding communities.
